Bentonite clay is primarily used for topical benefits, such as absorbing excess skin oil, drawing out impurities, and soothing skin irritations and acne. When used in face or body masks, Bentonite clay can help manage oily skin and reduce the appearance of pores.  Internal use is considered by some controversial that could pose risks.  Ingesting high amounts of bentonite clay can  interfere with nutrient absorption, cause intestinal blockages, and create electrolyte imbalances. 
 
Bentonite clay powder nutritional content: Bentonite clay is not a significant source of standard dietary nutrients like vitamins, protein, or carbohydrates. It is a naturally occurring mineral compound derived from volcanic ash, primarily composed of hydrated aluminum silicate. Its "nutritional content" is mainly a rich array of trace minerals and elements, including high concentrations of silica, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, copper, and zinc. The exact composition varies by source location. Its value is not based on traditional nutrition but on these minerals and its unique ability to bind with toxins and heavy metals through an ionic charge, a property that should be discussed with a healthcare provider before internal use.

Shelf Life: Our products will maintain their freshness and integrity for up to 18 months after purchase in our sealed bags or 6-9 months after seal is broken. Customers should store products in a cool dark place to ensure full shelf-life. Bulk products are sourced on a weekly basis to ensure our supply is always fresh. 

Packaging:  Orders of 10 or more of a single item or 10lbs or more of a single item will be packaged in a food grade bag with twist tie. Bulk capsules do not apply.
