Blessed thistle (Cnicus benedictus) is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region as well as France. Blessed thistle herb powder is primarily used in traditional medicine to support digestive health. Its key bitter compound, cnicin, stimulates appetite and aids digestion by encouraging the production of saliva and stomach acids, which may alleviate gas and indigestion. Historically, it is also a galactagogue, used by some nursing mothers to increase breast milk supply. While anecdotal evidence is strong, more scientific research is needed to validate these uses. The powder also offers anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits from its mineral and flavonoid content.

Customers should store products in a cool dark place to ensure full shelf-life. Bulk products are sourced on a weekly basis to ensure our supply is always fresh.
Packaging: Orders of 10 or more of a single item or 10lbs or more of a single item will be packaged in a food grade bag with twist tie. Bulk capsules do not apply.
