It contains high concentrations of tannins, which possess astringent and antimicrobial properties, and juglone. The leaves also provide essential minerals like manganese, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc. Vitamins present include vitamins A, C, E, and K, along with various B vitamins such as folate, niacin, and pyridoxine. It is also a source of flavonoids and other phenolic compounds which act as antioxidants.

Shelf Life: Our products will maintain their freshness and integrity for up to 18 months after purchase in our sealed bags or 6-9 months after seal is broken. Customers should store products in a cool dark place to ensure full shelf-life. Bulk products are sourced on a weekly basis to ensure our supply is always fresh. 

Packaging:  Orders of 10 or more of a single item or 10lbs or more of a single item will be packaged in a food grade bag with twist tie. Bulk capsules do not apply.
