Astragalus root, a key herb in traditional Chinese medicine, acts as an adaptogen to help the body manage various stresses. Its active compounds, like polysaccharides and flavonoids, are associated with several potential health benefits, including boosting immune system function, providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects to protect cells, and supporting heart and kidney health. It is also used to help manage blood sugar levels and may alleviate certain chemotherapy side effects. However, more high-quality human research is needed to confirm many of these benefits, and it may interact with some medications, especially immunosuppressants.
Nutrient content: Astragalus root contains complex and diverse active plant compounds rather than significant amounts of standard macronutrients, vitamins, or minerals per typical serving. Its value lies in its phytochemicals, primarily polysaccharides, flavonoids, and saponins. It also contains various amino acids, trace elements like zinc, iron, and copper, as well as choline and folic acid in minute quantities

Shelf Life: Our products will maintain their freshness and integrity for up to 18 months after purchase in our sealed bags or 6-9 months after seal is broken. Customers should store products in a cool dark place to ensure full shelf-life. Bulk products are sourced on a weekly basis to ensure our supply is always fresh.
Packaging: Orders of 10 or more of a single item or 10lbs or more of a single item will be packaged in a food grade bag with twist tie. Bulk capsules do not apply.
