Ashwagandha Root Powder

Ashwagandha also known as Indian ginseng has many health benefits and commonly grows in India and North Africa. Ashwagandha’s meaning is “smell of horse.” Ashwagandha name is thought to refer to its smell, and to its strength enhancing properties. Ashwagandha root is primarily known as an adaptogen, helping the body manage stress and anxiety by reducing cortisol levels. Other key benefits supported by research include improved sleep quality, enhanced athletic performance (increased muscle strength and oxygen use), reduced inflammation, and potential cognitive benefits such as better memory and attention. The ashwagandha root may also support male fertility by increasing testosterone levels and sperm quality.
Nutrient content: Ashwagandha root powder is primarily composed of carbohydrates (around 50-74g per 100g serving) and is a good source of dietary fiber (around 32-37g). It contains a small amount of protein (around 3.9g) and minimal fat (0.3g). The powder also provides essential minerals like iron (approx. 3.3mg) and calcium (approx. 23mg), along with trace amounts of vitamins like C and carotene.
Bulk herbs and spices: We source our bulk herbs and spices from Organic, wild harvested, and pharmaceutical grade manufactures. In addition, our products are dried using low heat under 120 degrees.
Secure Packaging: Our bulk products are packaged using a re-sealable food grade bag that blocks UV light and moisture. All our products are safety sealed for our customer’s safety. Our dark colored bags are specially designed to ensure the freshest product possible.
Shelf Life: Our products will maintain their freshness and integrity for up to 18 months after purchase in our sealed bags or 6-9 months after seal is broken. Customers should store products in a cool dark place to ensure full shelf-life. Bulk products are sourced on a weekly basis to ensure our supply is always fresh.
Packaging: Orders of 10 or more of a single item or 10lbs or more of a single item will be packaged in a food grade bag with twist tie. Bulk capsules do not apply.
